Together We Will – San José has more than 3,000 members in a closed Facebook group. We commit to showing up in person for each other and for our communities.
Together We Will – San José is an intersectional, feminist, inclusive, anti-racist community dedicated to progressive activism. We work on local, state, and federal issues, and are a source of vetted and actionable information for our members. We support other activists, practice solidarity with the marginalized and oppressed, and work for positive social change, equality for all, human rights, justice, love, and a safe and healthy environment. We value personal connection with one another, and support our collective inspiration, education, training, and growth as activists and progressive human beings.
TOGETHER WE SHOW UP!
MARCHES, TOWN HALLS & MORE
Whether it’s participating in solidarity events at local mosques, marching for science or women’s rights, or showing up in force at local legislators’ offices, TWWSJ is a vibrant, proactive, local force for progressive change.
Monthly general membership meetings are a chance to get connected and inspired.
ACTION TEAMS: FOCUSED & CONNECTED
We have 17 different action teams working on issues from Immigration and Refugee Rights to Women’s Health and Safety. Our Be the Change Book Club and Social & Networking Events provide opportunities to get to know other members. Our Indivisible Group coordinates with others all across the Bay Area for collaborative, powerful messaging.
THE POWER OF COLLABORATION
We’re excited to connect with other organizations and groups involved in this vital work. Contact us if you’re a group admin or organizer looking to collaborate!
